ASHVILLE AREA HERITAGE SOCIETY

Excerpt from Rose's Ashville News 10/12/04

We had a good and productive meeting Monday at the Younkin Library. We were happy to welcome several new members, including County Commissioner Bob Huffer who presented the AAHS a check for $10,000.00 from Mary Virginia (Crites) Hannan and a personal check for $500.00 for the museum expansion fund.
